Select Board makes two appointments
The Select Board appointed two members to town committees on Tuesday. Both men have experience with the boards on which they will serve.
Walter Paster was reappointed to the Little Harbor Golf Advisory Committee after his term expired. The new term will expire at the end of this year. Established after the town purchased the golf course in 2022 for preservation of open space, the advisory committee is charged with helping ensure a smooth transition from private to public ownership of the course.
William Scott Parr was appointed as a member of the Conservation Commission. He previously participated in Commission meetings as a non-voting associate member. His term as a full member will run through June 30, 2029.
He said being an associate member of the commission has been a valuable experience.
“It is a public duty and privilege I have enjoyed, and I look forward to continuing that role as a full member of the commission,” Parr told the Select Board.
