One for the books: Wareham Free Library's anniversary celebration

Turning the page on 35 years, the library is ready to celebrate.
The Wareham Free Library, 59 Marion Road, will mark its 35th anniversary with a birthday celebration Wednesday, May 6, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The event will feature a talk from mystery writer J.A. Hennrikus, along with a look back at the library’s history and a preview of upcoming summer programs. Hennrikus has been in arts administration for over thirty years. She’s worked in the performing arts, museums and is currently the executive director of Sisters in Crime, an international organization for crime writers.
Cake will also be served.
Registration is not required, but reccomended so the library can know how many supplies to provide. Those interested can sign up at warehamfreelibrary.org.
