Hot stuff! Onset Bay Association's Mostly Annual Chili Contest

Add some spice to your day and swing by for a bowl or two of local chili.

Join the Onset Bay Association for it's mostly annual chili contest Saturday, March 21 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Stone Path Malt, 11 Kendrick Road. Guests and chili-makers alike can join the community in a soup-er event. 

Tickets to attend are $25 per person, $20 for Onset Bay Association. Those interested in bringing a chili can enter for a cash prize at $25 an entrant. 

Chili creators should be prepared to feed 200 people or about 2 gallons of soup, 2 oz at a time. If using a crock pot, it's advised to bring an extension cord chafing dishes and sterno available upon request.

Feel free to bring decorations and toppings and sides for the chili.

Portion cups to serve the chili, spoons, napkins, a 6' rectangular table and a chair will be provided. Voting will be by People's Choice, everyone gets one ballot.

We have some great raffles coming in for the gift raffle. Please let us know if you'd like to donate an item or service.

There will be a 50/50 raffle with a cash prize alongside Minkle Boys Catering's weekly menu available if patrons need more than chili to whet your appetite.

Craft beers and wine will be available at the cash bar, the event is family friendly.
