Vote in next week’s presidential primary

The presidential primary is coming soon to the Tri-Town. 

On Tuesday, March 5, voters can cast ballots for the Democratic, Republican and Libertarian primaries in Massachusetts. 

Early voting has begun in Rochester, Mattapoisett and Marion and continues through the week.

In Rochester, early voting will occur until Thursday, Feb. 29 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Rochester Town Hall. 

Early voting is available in Mattapoisett at Mattapoisett Town Hall until Friday, March 1 between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

In Marion, early voting will occur at Marion Town Hall until Friday, March 1 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (3:30 p.m. on Friday).

The Democratic presidential primary ballot lists Dean Phillips, Joseph R. Biden and Marianne Williamson. 

The Republican ballot includes Chris Christie, Ryan Binkley, Vivek Ramaswamy, Asa Hutchinson, Donald J. Trump, Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley. 

The Libertarian ballot includes Jacob George Hornberger, Michael D. Rectenwald, Chase Russell Oliver, Michael Ter Maat and Lars Damian Mapstead.

Voters can cast primary ballots at polling locations between 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voting locations are the Benjamin D. Cushing Community Center in Marion, Old Hammondtown School in Mattapoisett, and the Rochester Senior Center in Rochester.
