A tree-mendous 25 year celebration for the Wareham Land Trust

After 25 years of putting down roots in Wareham, the Wareham Land Trust is inviting the community to branch out and celebrate.
The trust will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a gala fundraiser on Friday, June 5, at the Rosebrook Events Center.
The event is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. at 50 Rosebrook Place in Wareham. The trust is a local non-profit organization dedicated to conserving open space, protecting natural resources, and providing free public nature education.
The evening will feature live music, silent and live auctions, hors d’oeuvres and desserts prepared by Upper Cape Tech students. Proceeds from the event will support the Wareham Land Trust’s efforts to conserve open space, protect wildlife habitat and preserve natural areas in Wareham.
The nonprofit organization has spent the past 25 years working to protect environmentally significant land throughout the community.
