Sign-ups to receive Easter meals through the Sacred Heart Food Pantry are ongoing through Saturday, March 23.

Meals are to be picked up on Tuesday, March 26 between 9 a.m. and noon or between 3 and p.m. The meal box will include everything needed for a pork dinner, including either a pork roast or pork loin, potatoes, sides and a dessert.

Regular pantry hours are Saturdays and the first and third Wednesdays from 8:30 to 11 a.m. and the second and fourth Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m.

The pantry serves residents of Middleboro, Lakeville, Carver and Rochester. Proof of residence in one of the communities is necessary. New clients are always welcome.

Clients are asked to arrive at least 30 minutes before the closing time so that the registration process can be completed and there will be enough time to shop for food. Clients can shop the pantry once each month and receive a shopping cart full of meats, fresh and frozen produce, canned and boxed foods, bread, eggs and other dairy products.
