MARION — It’s a yard sale. It’s an art sale. It’s a “YArt” sale.

The Marion Art Center will host its first ever “YArt” Sale Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the multipurpose room at Sippican Elementary School.

Come shop for lightly used art supplies, equipment, books and teaching resources.

For those looking to offload art supplies, the Marion Art Center will sell your materials. Items must be in good condition and approved by a “YArt” sale committee in advance. Vendors will pay a $25 registration fee once accepted, which will be refunded after vendors collect all unsold goods. The Marion Art Center will retain a 50% commission on all sales.

Vendors with many items are invited to sell their own items at the “YArt” sale but must be present for setup and cleanup and remain throughout the entirety of the event.

For a list of approved items and more details or to apply to sell materials, visit marionartcenter.org/events. A committee member will reach out with additional details after a vendor application form is submitted. Submissions are due by Friday, April 19.

The Marion Art Center will not be able to accept donated materials ahead of the event. All items must be delivered to the event site on the day of the “YArt” sale.
