Mashpee-Phyllis (Byrne) McArdle, 96 of Mashpee formerly of Mattapoisett, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday December 14, 2023. She was the wife of the late Bill McArdle. She was born in Lexington, MA, the daughter of the late Dennis and Albertina (Bettencourt) Byrne.

Phyllis is survived by her sons: Russell Irving Klopfer, III and his wife Rachel of Ohio and Richard Byrne Klopfer and his wife Cynthia of Mashpee. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Christian, Effy, Alexander, Russell, Annika, Eric and 9 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Dennis Byrne, William Byrne, Ronald Byrne, and Dorothy McConnell.

Graveside service, Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 11 am in Agawam Cemetery, Stillman Memorial Drive, Wareham. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
