MATTAPOISETT — Hone your writing with a writers workshop at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library.

The group meets every fourth Friday from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the basement community room.

The workshop serves as a place to share ideas and work for writers or those who just have that stories they’d like to be told.

Bring a piece of writing to share aloud, or just come to listen at first. No need to bring copies. Bring what moves you — memoir, poetry, fiction, essay — and share your voice in a supportive setting. The group wants to hear the story inside you.
