Frank E. Cooper, 71, of Mattapoisett died Sunday, December 31, 2023 at home after a period of declining health. He was the husband of Susan G. (Letendre) Brownell.

Born in Chelsea, son of the late Frank E. and Mary E. (Garey) Cooper, he lived in Mattapoisett for many years.

Frank honorably served in the United States Marine Corps from 1974-1978.

He was a graduate of Old Rochester Regional High School and Southeastern Massachusetts University, Class of 1981.

Frank enjoyed getting together with his friends on Friday nights.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; three brothers, Thomas, Timothy, and Michael Cooper; his sister, Christine Cooper; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother, Robert G. Cooper.
