This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.

A neighborhood in Marion was quiet on Wednesday, March 13, but only one day earlier on Tuesday, March 12, Massachusetts State Police and uniformed Marion Police Officers surrounded the home of a former Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School teacher who is accused of raping at least one student at the school.

Andre Arsenault was arrested and arraigned Tuesday on charges regarding interactions with a student that began when she was 14 years old, the student said in a police report obtained by WCVB.

Arsenault previously worked as a culinary arts teacher at Old Colony.

He is no longer employed by the school district, according to Old Colony. The school did not comment further.

Based on the police report, the student said Arsenault “was groping her almost every day at school” and that “she was raped during her senior year,” according to WCVB.

Several of Arsenault’s neighbors were reached for comment on Wednesday. All who answered their doors declined to comment.

As of March 13, records regarding the case at Wareham District Court have been impounded by the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.
